General catalogue – 2015. English edition

ArcelorMittal announced a few weeks ago the launch of a new generation of AZ^® steel sheet piles that will be available for shipment in the next months, after the commissioning of a new straightening equipment in the Belval mill. The addition of the extra-wide sheet piles is a good occasion to update the general catalogue and to review tables and text.

The main changes compared to the previous edition are:

• addition of four new AZ^®series: AZ 20‑800, AZ 25‑800, AZ 30‑750 & AZ 50‑700;
• revision of the table with the interlock strength of AS 500 flat sheet piles (page 29);
• update of the tables with steel grades & sections availabilities (page 57);
• addition of some pictures.

The advantages of the new AZ-800 have already been highlighted in the previous news: the new profiles are wider, lighter, can be installed with the same driving equipment, and consequently, the new sections are more cost-efficient.
